The Comfoconnect LAN C is nice to work with the Zehnder app but it’s also a disadvantage, you have to use the Zehnder app. Most people want to have everything in one app, the native smarthome app.
If you have a smart home (Loxone or openHAB for example) you would like to bind the Zehnder ventilation unit to the native app. Most systems have a LAN connection by default, TCP/UDP communication is basic but should be able to do the trick with the Comfoconnect LAN C interface.
Even a €1 ESP8266 module can send this protocol, so this would open the door for many maker enthousiasts.

mqtt comunication or UDP would be great

mqtt would be my favorite but UDP would also be nice

+1 for MQTT
Such an API should work without a Zehnder cloud. A lot of people do not want to integrate a cloud for the basic commands and sensor Infos. It is good to have a cloud available for more elaborated features but it should also work without. Eg direct interface with smart home systems like iobroker, ooenhab,…i
MQTT would be great because of the easy protocol and widely used already.
+1 for MQTT
+1 for a wide open standard
MQTT or/and SNMP ( for data read )

Support for MyHomeServer1 Bticino/Legrand/Netatmo

Smart home integration is a no brainer and absolute necessity nowadays. Would be great to hear an official update on this.

Modbus TCP would be great
